The Facebook Whistleblower Is A Politically-Motivated Pro-Censorship Operative

A Facebook whistleblower propped up by the Democratic establishment and the media is calling for big-tech regulation. Based on her connections, past work, and political ideology, it’s clear her actions aren’t a call for freedom. They’re a call for the government to wield social media’s censorial powers against its enemies.

Frances Haugen was on the Facebook civic integrity team. The team was created to counter misinformation about the 2020 election and make censorial decisions appear democratic. The team was behind the censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop story, which was since confirmed true. The team was also behind the decision to keep Trump banned from the platform.

Frances Haugen supported the team’s efforts to censor, even stating that Facebook’s decision to shut the group down was a grievance of hers.

Frances Haugen is a long-time DNC donor. The National Pulse reveals that she donated nearly $2,000 to Democrats since 2016, with much of it going to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She has also contributed to the senator’s Political Action Committee (PAC). The donations are significant considering the democratic leadership’s devotion to using Facebook to censor political opposition.

AOC expressed interest in wielding media apparatus to cut down on misinformation. “We’re going to have to figure out how we rein in our media environment so you can’t just spew disinformation and misinformation,” she said. She’s also publicly expressed interest to Facebook-CEO Mark Zuckerberg in having him “take down lies.”

Frances Haugen’s lawyers were behind the Trump impeachment. The same lawyers that are currently representing Haugen represented the anonymous Ukraine “whistleblower”. Those lawyers successfully used the allegations to start the impeachment process.

Frances Haugen’s PR representation is partisan. According to the Washington Free Beacon, Haugen has been advised by Bill Burton, a former aide for Obama, his public relations firm Bryson Gillette. Jen Psaki was a senior advisor at Bryson Gillette until 2020.

Representing White House efforts, Jen Psaki publicly admitted that the administration was working with social media giants to suppress “misinformation”. “It shouldn’t come as any surprise that we’re in regular touch with social media platforms,” she said, adding that “you shouldn’t be banned from one platform and not others if you—for providing misinformation out there.” The Biden administration wants more censorship, not less.

Through meticulous presentation, Frances Haugen and her advisors have attempted to portray her as a warrior for justice and freedom. The opposite is true. As a part of the Democratic establishment, she is working to further their ideological goal of silencing political dissent.
