NEW YORK CITY POLICE UNION SUES CITY OVER MANDATE - New York City's largest police union asked a judge on Monday to temporarily halt the implementation of the mandate before it takes effect on November 1. [CBS]

DOZENS OF TOP US NUCLEAR SCIENTISTS MAY BE FIRED OVER MANDATE - A total of 114 workers at Los Alamos National Laboratory — the birthplace of the atomic bomb — sued over the mandate. The judge ruled against them. [AP]

PROTESTORS SUPPORT KYRIE - NBA star Kyrie Irving made waves by standing up to the shot mandate. Hundreds gathered outside the team’s home arena to support Irving, chanting “no [shot] mandate” and “stand with Kyrie” before a break-away group stormed the barricades. [NY POST]

SPREADING THE PANDEMIC, SHOT VS. NO SHOT - People with the shot are just as likely to spread the delta variant of the virus to contacts in their household as those who haven’t had shots, according to new research. [BLOOMBERG]


California prepares to give 1.2 million 5-11 yr olds the shot- “We have around 4,000 sites that are ready to administer and over 1,000 providers across the state enrolled to [give shots].” [CNBC]

The FDA will authorize the shot for the age group - The Food and Drug Administration is expected to authorize the shot for emergency use in children 5 to 11. [NY Times]

FDA panel justification- During the FDA panel regarding the authorization, one physician justified his position of approving by stating that "we're never gonna learn about how safe the [shot] is until we start giving it."  [Town Hall]

Healthy children aren’t threatened by the virus - This is supported by CDC data (quoted by Pfizer), which shows that for children aged 5-11 years old, there have been 1.8 million pandemic cases and only 138 deaths. [TechnoFog]


GRAMMY’S NEW GUIDELINES - The new formal diversity guidelines require producers to recruit and hire more diverse candidates backstage and in front of the camera. [AP]

AMERICA’S NEW PASSPORT - The United States has issued its first passport with an “X” gender designation to recognize people who do not identify as male or female. [AP]

DISCRIMINATED-AGAINST WHITE MALE WINS $10 MILLION - A former top executive in a North Carolina-based health care system who claimed in a lawsuit that he lost his job because he is a white male was awarded $10 million by a federal jury. [Kansas]

CHICAGO MUSEUM FIRES STAFF FOR WOKENESS - The Art Institute of Chicago fired all of its trained volunteers and guides last month, mostly older white women, to diversify its team. [NY Post]

NY TO REMOVE THOMAS JEFFERSON STATUE - For the last two decades, some Black and Latino Council members, citing Jefferson’s history as a slaveholder, called for the statue to be banished. On Monday, city officials voted unanimously to remove the statue from Council chambers. [NYT]

Twitter Suspends Politicians For Misgendering Trans Health Official - Dr. Rachel Levine, a transgender woman, was sworn in as the first-ever four-star female admiral to oversee the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

In response, Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) tweeted, “the title of first female four-star officer gets taken by a man." As a result of the tweet, Twitter suspended the democratically-elected American representative.


GOOGLE SEARCH WARRANTS - The U.S. government is secretly ordering Google to provide data on anyone typing in specific search terms, an accidentally unsealed court document shows. [Forbes]

LEAKED FACEBOOK CHATS CONFIRM BIAS - In June 2020, when America was rocked by protests over the death of George Floyd at the hands of a Minneapolis police officer, a Facebook employee posted a message on the company’s racial-justice chat board: “Get Breitbart out of News Tab.”

Facebook chose to keep Breitbart on News Tab. Google also censored the news network from appearing in search results.[WSJ]


For separated families: The Biden administration is in talks to offer immigrant families separated during the Trump administration around $450,000 a person in compensation. This could mean around $1 million per family. [WSJ]

Costs could reach surpass $1 billion: The ACLU identified about 5,500 separated children. Nine hundred forty claims have been filed so far, which could mean a total payout of over $1 billion. [WSJ]

Blaming Trump: Despite Biden blaming former President Trump, the Biden Administration separated children from their accompanying elders until officials could confirm relation. [USA Today]

Treating illegal immigrants better than our soldiers: Survivors of members of Armed Forces who die while on active duty is only $100,000. [Defense.gov]


Background: Parents across the country are fed up with schools teaching radical progressive ideas and adopting progressive policies. To protest these changes and voice their concerns, parents are taking an active role in the school boards.

Terrorist parents: In response, the National School Board Association (NSBA) called parents “domestic terrorists” and requested federal intervention. AG Garland mobilized the FBI for the cause. The association later apologized for their classification of parents.

In-tact school boards revolt: While many school boards have been overrun by progressives, the still conservative ones are protesting the association’s recent actions. The Ohio School Board Association, The Pennsylvania School Board Association, and Missouri School Board Association withdrew from the National Association. [Daily Caller, PM]
